602 South Seventh Street is a detached three-storey office building situated in the heart of Milton Keynes. It occupies a prime location adjacent to Avebury Boulevard in the central business district of CMK. It is a short walk to major retail and leisure facilities at The Centre:MK, restaurants and hotels at The Hub:MK and MK Central railway station.
RSR were tasked with a dilapidation project to bring a prime office space back to it’s original state. With challenges of no ‘goods lift’ a plan was put together to complete the work seamlessly. The project involved a mixture of replace and repair where needed. Some of the work included partitioning taking down and removed, carpet tiles uplifted and replaced with new Milliken Carpet tiles and blinds repaired and replaced where needed. Works completed with all materials hand balled down the staircase as no goods lift available. Bespoke layout to enable secure access to 3 floors/businesses via door entry system and key card activated lift. Building includes Solar panels, electric car charging, and is a rated epc.
Scope of works
- Remove all existing partitions
- Uplift carpet tiles
- Remove tea points
- Repair suspended ceilings
- Change damaged ceiling tiles
- Replace all lighting to LED panels
- Repair Blinds and Install new where damaged
- Re-configure the re-balance A/C system to open plan
- Remove all floor boxes
- Decoration
- Lay new Milliken Carpet tiles throughout
- Remove all Furniture
