Mirza UK Ltd is a footwear manufacturer and wholesaler, with a global footprint spanning 30 countries. With their base in Milton Keynes, Mirza needed to expand their warehouse capacity to support their growing business.
RSR was tasked with the removal of the existing temporary structures, stripping and reducing the level of the existing site and then the building of a 900m2 warehouse extension which is attached to the existing building. The client wanted the extension to be joined to the existing unit, but to maintain a clear distinction between the two spaces. The objective was to cause minimal disruption to the client, so we worked closely with them at all stages to ensure their operations went uninterrupted. RSR was the principal contractor for this project, and was responsible for all aspects of the project, including site safety, ground works, foundations, erection of the steel structure, roofing and cladding, installation of the warehouse racking, fit-out of staff toilets and breakout areas, and all other elements to take this space from a blank canvas to a fully functioning warehouse.
This was a full-build project which showcased RSR's broad range of services and quality of work. RSR's pro-active and responsive approach were key to the success of this project. Using our core principles of cost efficiency, technical expertise, as well as high quality project and site management gave us the ability to adapt and flex with any changes required throughout the project.
